Renovations in our Toronto Call Centre are still moving ahead.
The weather in and around Canada has really thrown us for a loop lately. I’m sure we are not the only ones affected, actually I know we aren’t. (Looking at you Emergency Restoration Companies!)
Luckily the renovations in our Toronto, On call centre seem to have gotten back on track. The carpet in our operations has been installed, the chairs have been tested throughly and everyone has voted on their top two favourite models. (We take chairs pretty seriously around here). And of course, most importantly I must mention that yes, the cubicles have been delivered and are being installed.
By the way. They.Are.Awesome!
I promise, I’m not the only one who thinks so.
The new cubicles are double the width and length. This means that sound will be greatly reduced. We also had a semi-opaque plexiglass installed on the top’ third, which divides the cubicles. This way all our virtual receptionists can still see if their neighbour is at the desk beside them, but still have the privacy of not being able to see more then a shadow.
And this is just phase 1, the best is still to come.
In the next few weeks we will be moving and installing all the operation computers into the new stations (Yay!). Then we begin dismantling and moving the supervisor station across the room to open up the entire space.
After that will be all the fun stuff, new paint, new lighting, new desks and hopefully, (Knocking on wood here guys.) everyone will have come to an agreement on the chairs they like.
Then we will have an official ribbon cutting and celebration when the renovations are completed.
Here’s to 2015, a year of fresh beginnings and positive changes.
