Well I’m back!

A while back (in some respects it feels like a decade ago and in others 10 minutes) I left AnswerPlus to help a friend out with his business. A year and a half later I accomplished what I set out to do and needed a new challenge. I happened to be in a charity golf tournament with Paul (who has been a mentor and a friend for years) and discovered that AnswerPlus was looking to add to its sales force and needed someone with industry experience and technical knowledge. The timing and the fit was perfect so I decided to come home and give it a try. As Wayne Gretzky once said “you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.”

So I’m sitting here in my new (old) home at AnswerPlus blogging (I never thought I would use that word) about what it’s like to be back. Well I’ve worked in a lot of different industries from farming, to landscaping, to towing, to owning a call centre, and to AnswerPlus (and a lot of stops along the way), and I’ve never worked anywhere that really felt like home until now. I have almost 25 years in this industry and have worked in every facet of it from operator to owner and 14 of those years (and counting again) have been spent working at AnswerPlus. I’m excited that I had the opportunity to come home and I feel like I’m doing exactly what I should be doing. It’s good to be back! -Dave Kenyon
